Riga Latvia is the second Baltic country I have visited, Estonia being the first during the Harmony conference in 2010. And for those Americans
that can't find Florida on a map ... Baltic != Balkan ... go look it up. We flew in, with Tanel Poder, Graham Wood and Kai Yu on 31 May, 2012 at the conclusion of the OUG Harmony conference in Finland. The
one hour flight was smooth and in every positive way, totally unlike our experience on Rossiya Airlines. We were greeted at the airport by one of the conference organizers and transported seamlessly through a
fascinating city to the Tallink Hotel Riga, Elizabetes 24, Riga (www.hotels.tallink.com). The room was good by American standards: First class by European standards. I highly recommend the hotel for anyone
lucky enough to visit this city.
