Self Inflicted has berths for 6. Two singles on the settees in the main cabin and two separate double berths one forward between the chain locker and the head ... the other on the port side of the main cabin just forward of the pilot house.

Forward Berth

Looking forward toward the sail and chain locker.

Forward Berth

Another look at the forward with the final trim, partially varnished, in place. The deck supports have been wrapped with cord and await painting.

Port Berth

With sliding map table door fully open you can look aft into the port-side pilot's berth and to the book case and still unfinished vent.

The berth is 6'3" long and 4'6" wide ... the size of a North American double bed.

Port Berth Storage

Under the port berth mattresses there is 18 cu ft. of storage, separated into 3 lockers, each bottom padded with silicon rubber to minimize ratteling.

The full storage area is approximately 6 ft. long, by 3 ft, wide, by 2 ft. deep made triangular by the boat's hard chine bottom.

Port Berth Storage

This picture show the top of the forward-most of the three lockers with a scuba tank and gear. Clearly the locker could hold several tanks, BCs, along with masks, snorkels, fins, weight belts, and tools.

Port Berth

With sliding map table door open you can see the forward end of the port pilot's berth with the reading light showing just inside the door.
